Every home has its accidents and spills, and until recently there wasn't much homeowners could do to spare their carpet from harmful moisture.

Moisture is fundamentally bad news for carpet. The backing, padding, and carpet fibers themselves absorb moisture quickly and hold a stain indefinitely. Even if you witness a large spill and react immediately, the stain will return to the surface in a day or two.

The problem is how quickly moisture is able to penetrate the top layer and evade drying from even the most diligent homeowners. That's why Tigressa's newest "H2O" offering uses a thermoplastic backing that keeps moisture on the carpet's surface. You'll still need to deal with the spill, but stains and long-term rot from spills will be a thing of the past.
